The excellence project of Jerusalem wineries
The Windmill Project wines are the excellence project of the Jerusalem Agricultural Association wineries. A selected group of vine growers and vineyard plots from which we produce the best wines. It is a constant search for local identity, complexity and elegance. Our job is to try and get the best out of what the vineyard and the vintage year give us. The philosophy that guides us in the production of wines is influenced by the “old world”, where the fruit and its characteristics are at the center and the influence of the winemaker and the process is secondary.
The illustration that appears on the wine labels and the name of the series expresses the winery’s connection to the Montefiore Windmill, where the winery’s visitor center operates, in front of the City of David and the walls of the old city.
All our wines are strictly Kosher l’mehadrin for Passover and all the days of the year
