סיפורו של היקב מתחיל לפני שנים רבות, עת הוקם ע"י יונה וציפורה מנדלסון, בעיר העתיקה בירושלים. בתום מלחמת העצמאות, עבר היקב לשכונת 'בית ישראל' ובשנת 1976 נקבע משכנו בחלקה הצפוני של ירושלים. עם רכישת היקב ע"י משפחת גואטה בשנת 2006, שונה שמו ליקבי ירושלים אגודה חקלאית שיתופית, כיקב היחידי הפועל בירושלים. לאורך העשור האחרון, עבר היקב תנופת התחדשות והושקעו בו משאבים רבים, הן ביקב והן בכרמים, תוך שיפור וייעול תהליכים, אשר מאפשרים לצוות הייננים המנוסה ליצור מגוון יינות איכות.
היקב נמצא בצמיחה מתמדת, תוך חתירה בלתי נלאית לשיפור איכויות, יצירת סדרות יין איכותיות והרחבת הנוכחות בשוק המקומי ובשווקים הבינלאומיים.

ליאור מביא אתו למעלה מ 20 שנות ניסיון בתעשיית היין, סקרנות ושאיפה מתמדת למצוינות. בוגר לימודי ייננות בבורגונדי ומאמין שהכרם צריך לעמוד במרכז העשייה. ליאור התמחה ביקבים מובילים בבורגונדי, בורדו ומערב אוסטרליה, לפני שחזר לישראל. לאחר כשני עשורים בתעשיית היין המקומית, הצטרף ליקב וכיום משמש כמנכ"ל והיינן הראשי שלו.

Our website implements the ARIA attributes (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) technique, alongside various different behavioral changes, to ensure blind users visiting with screen-readers are able to read, comprehend, and enjoy the website’s functions.
