The Vintage

A winter with limited rainfall, approximately 40%-50% below average, combined with a significant cold spell in February, led to delayed pruning and healthy budbreak in the vineyards. A major heatwave in August accelerated ripening and required careful maintenance of healthy, balanced foliage to protect the fruit. The harvest of the white grapes was characterized by low levels of pests and disease, contributing to high-quality fruit, average yields and excellent-quality wines.

Wine Characteristics

This dry rosé wine was produced from Marselan and Syrah grapes grown on young vines and harvested early in order to preserve freshness and fresh fruit characteristics. Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes were pressed directly and transferred to stainless-steel tanks for fermentation at a low temperature. The wine then continued to age on its lees for approximately three months.

Food Pairing

The wine pairs well with fresh cheeses, savoury pastries and raw fish with Asian-style seasoning.
