The Vineyards
Jerusalem Hills.
One of the most prominent wine regions in Israel. The vineyards are planted at an altitude of 700-850 meters. The soil, aerated Terra Rossa, is rich in limestone and is suitable for growing quality grapes. The area is characterized by cold nights throughout the year, light winds during the day and low humidity.

The historic wine-growing region of modern Israel, established by Baron Edmond de Rothschild in the 19th century. Our vineyard plots are planted in cool valleys allowing for optimal control of growth intensity. The area is characterized by westerly winds that constantly ventilate the vineyards.

From the oldest areas of the Land of Israel for growing wine grapes. The air is dry and pleasant, with an average annual rainfall of around 450 millimeters.

Jerusalem Wineries Agricultural Cooperative Association is the only winery currently operating in Israel’s capital. In recent years, the winery has undergone an extensive renewal process, with significant investment enabling the production of high-quality Jerusalem wines.
The Winery
Jerusalem Wineries Agricultural Cooperative Association was founded in the Old City of Jerusalem in the early twentieth century. After the winery was acquired by the Guetta family, a family of winegrowers from Moshav Bnei Re’em, it became the only winery operating in Jerusalem.
